With one inbox doing all the work, your documents carry the entire first impression.
Start with a clean PDF CV, two pages maximum, in reverse chronological order. Kuwaiti employers expect certain details that international templates often omit — the archived KIB form asked for nationality and Civil ID, which reflects local norms — but do not email your Civil ID number speculatively; the bank can request it at interview stage. Include your +965 mobile number, a professional email address, your education with institutions and years, and work history with concrete responsibilities. Write a short, specific email body: the role or function you're targeting, one or two sentences on your strongest qualification, and a clear statement that your CV is attached. Use a subject line like 'Application — Retail Banking — [Your Name]' so the recruitment team can route it. Proofread everything twice; in a market this document-driven, a typo in your own phone number is a real and common failure.
Send once, to the official address only, and keep a copy of what you sent.

Verify the channel before you share anything
Old microsites and imitations make verification a genuine step, not a formality.
Because archived material shows KIB recruitment previously ran through a branded form collecting Civil IDs and CV uploads, imitators have a ready-made template to copy. Before sending anything, open KIB's official careers page at kib.com.kw and check the current instructions yourself. The legitimate address is [email protected] — note the .com.kw domain, matching the bank's own website. Be suspicious of any page that asks you to upload your CV or Civil ID to a third-party domain, charges any fee, or guarantees interviews. Legitimate bank recruitment in Kuwait does not charge applicants. If a site's branding looks right but its URL doesn't, trust the URL.
